Meet the Team

Jamie Partin

Jamie Partin (Owner & Pharmacist) is a Bell County native that grew up in the Frakes community. Jamie graduated from Frakes Elementary (1988), Bell County High School (1992), and the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (1998,) then immediately returned to Pineville and began his career as a Pharmacist at the Pineville Community Hospital. Since leaving the hospital in 2002 & working in several different types of pharmacy settings, Jamie has learned that local independent pharmacy ownership is his passion and “home”. “It’s the family-like atmosphere and building relationships with patients that make pharmacy ownership so special.”

Josh Howard

Josh Howard is certified as a pharmacy technician and also serves Bell Drug as office manager & pharmacy inventory specialist.  Josh is a Bell County native with roots in the Blackmont community close to Harlan County.  He has over 10 years of pharmacy experience right here in Pineville and strives daily to provide excellent care to our patients (he knows how to get that accomplished too, folks).  Josh has a gift of making everyone (customers and co-workers) feel like family here at Bell Drug.  “Everyone is important, so everyone’s health is also important.”

Sabrina

Sabrina is our lead pharmacy technician specializing in pharmacy software operations.  She is the “go-to” person for processing prescriptions, claims billing, and troubleshooting computer issues.  Not to mention the fact that she is very well versed with all other aspects of the pharmacy (both prescription & over-the-counter departments).  She is very family oriented and it shows in how well she cares for our patients– everyone feels comfortable in her presence.  Sabrina is a Bell County girl from the Ingram community and graduated from the Pineville Independent Schools.

Julie

Julie is also a Bell County native originally from the Right Fork community.  She has a long history of serving customers/ patients in previous retail jobs and long-term care facilities.  Known by many families here in Bell County as one of the most compassionate and hard working ladies to ever care for nursing home patients.  Julie shows the same caring attitude and strong/dependable work ethic right here at Bell Drug.  She serves an important role in promptly & accurately filling prescriptions for our patients and supervises the front-end inventory (our over-the-counter products).

Sophia

Sophia has recently graduated from Bell County High School and is our student employee, working here at Bell Drug while attending nursing school.  She is absolutely a “people person” and loves helping our customers with whatever they need (prescriptions, information, or over-the-counter items).  I’m telling you folks, she will make an outstanding nurse in the near future.  As much as I’d like to keep her at Bell Drug permanently, Ms Sophia will be a nurse soon (I’m confident of that).
